কাজিরাঙ্গা জাতীয় উদ্যানটি ভারতের আসাম রাজ্যের গোলাঘাট এবং নগাও জেলার একটি জাতীয় উদ্যান । জাতীয় উদ্যানটি ভারতের উত্তর-পূর্ব রাজ্য আসামের একটি সুরক্ষিত অঞ্চল। এটি এমন এক স্থান যেখানে হাতিদের সুরক্ষিত আবাস এবং বিশ্বের অবশিষ্ট এক-শিংযুক্ত গণ্ডার এর দুই-তৃতীয়াংশ বাস করে। ব্রহ্মপুত্র নদীর প্লাবন সমভূমি জুড়ে ছড়িয়ে পরে এবং এর বন, জলাভূমি এবং তৃণভূমি — বাঘ, হাতি এবং বিশ্বের এক শিংযুক্ত গণ্ডারের বৃহত্তম জনসংখ্যার বাসস্থান। গঙ্গা নদীর ডলফিনগুলি পার্কের জলে সাঁতার কাটছে। এখানে অনেক দুর্লভ পরিযায়ী পাখি এবং কাজিরাঙ্গা গ্রামের কাছে ধূসর পেলিকান্স রোস্ট দর্শন করতে পারা যায়। কাজিরাঙ্গা জাতীয় উদ্যানটি একটি পাখির স্বর্গ এবং তৃণভূমিগুলি একটি র্যাপার দেশ যা সাফারিতে দেখা যায় এবং একটি অসাধারণ অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জন করা যায় । কাজিরাঙ্গা জাতীয় উদ্যানের,জিপ সাফারি বা হাতি সাফারি অন্যতম অ্যাডভেঞ্চার ক্রিয়াকলাপ। এটি আশ্রয়কেন্দ্র হস্তী, জলাবদ্ধ হরিণ এবং বন্য জলের মহিষের বিশাল প্রজনন জনগোষ্ঠী। আসামের প্রাণকেন্দ্রে, এই পার্কটি পূর্ব ভারতের অন্যতম শেষ অঞ্চল যেখানে মানুষের উপস্থিতি দ্বারা অবারিত।
পার্ক এর সময়সূচী
সকাল: সকাল সাড়ে সাতটা থেকে দুপুর ১২ টা পর্যন্ত এবং সন্ধ্যা: ২:২০ টা থেকে বিকাল ৫:০০ টা পর্যন্ত। পার্কটি ১ লা অক্টোবর থেকে ৩১ শে মে পর্যন্ত উন্মুক্ত থাকে।
এখানে জিপসি জিপে জীপ সাফারি এবং হাতির পিঠে হাতি সাফারি ও করা হয়। জিপ প্রতি দাম ১৯৫০ থেকে শুরু হয়। প্রবেশ ফি: ভারতীয় নাগরিকদের জন্য ১০০ টাকা; বিদেশী নাগরিকদের জন্য ৬৫০ টাকা। ভিজিটের জন্য ফি- পুরো দিন: ২,০০০ টাকা। ভারতীয় নাগরিকদের জন্য ২০০ টাকা। বিদেশী নাগরিকের জন্য জনপ্রতি ফি এলিফ্যান্ট যাত্রার জন্য:৮৭৫ টাকা ভারতীয় নাগরিকদের জন্য এবং ১৯২৫ টাকা বিদেশী নাগরিকদের জন্য । প্রতি ট্রিপ রোডের জন্য টোল: সকল নাগরিকের জন্য ৩০০ টাকা ।
কি ভাবে কাজিরাঙা যাবেন—
বিমান দ্বারা: গুয়াহাটি (২৪০ কিলোমিটার) , রোডের মাধ্যমে: গুয়াহাটি থেকে, জাতীয় হাইওয়ে ৩৭ এ রাস্তা দিয়ে কোহোরা যেতে পারে। বিমানে যদি আসেন তবে ৯৭ কি মি দূরের জোড়হাট বিমান বন্দরে নামতে হবে। আর জোড়হাট থেকে সড়ক পথে ৯৬ কি মি আস্তে হবে । যদি রেল পথে আসেন তাহলে মেন লাইনে কাজিরাঙার ৭২ কিমি দূরে ফারকোটিং স্টেশনে নামতে হবে। সড়কপথে কাজিরাঙ্গা , গুয়াহাটি থেকে ২১৭ কিমি ,জোড়হাট থেকে ৯৬ কিমি,ফারকোটিং থেকে ৭২ কিমি দূরত্বে অবস্থিত।
কলকাতা থেকে গৌহাটি রেলপথে আস্তে গেলে জেনে রাখতে হবে —
১)হাওড়া থেকে ৩ টা ৫০মিনিটে (১২৩৪৫)আপ সরাইঘাট এক্সপ্রেস ছেড়ে পরেরদিন সকাল ৯ টা ৩৫ মিনিটে গৌহাটি পৌঁছায়।
২) বিকেল ৫ টা ৩৫ মিনিটে ছাড়ে (১৫৯৫৯) কামরূপ এক্সপ্রেস
৩) শিয়ালদা স্টেশন থেকে সকাল ৬টা ৩৫ মিনিটে ছাড়ে (১৫৬৫৭) কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা এক্সপ্রেস আর গৌহাটি পৌঁছায় ভোর ৪ টায় ।
৪) রাট ৯তা ৪০ মিনিটে ছাড়ে গরিব রথ (১২৫১৭) সপ্তাহে দু দিন ( বৃহস্পতিবার ও রবিবার )
৫) প্রতি বুধবার রাত ৯তা ৪০ মিনিটে ছাড়ে কলকাতা ডিব্রুগড় এক্সপ্রেস (১২৫২৫ )
Kaziranga National Park
Kaziranga National Park is a national park in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam, India. National Park is a protected area in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It is a place where protected habitat of elephants & two-thirds of the world’s remaining Great One-Horned Rhinoceros are residing. Spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, its forests, wetlands, and grasslands are home to tigers, elephants and the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. Ganges River dolphins swim in the park’s waters. It’s visited by many rare migratory birds, and gray pelicans roost near Kaziranga village. Kaziranga National Park is a birding paradise and the grasslands are a raptor country that can be seen on safari makes a remarkable experience. Jeep Safari or elephant safari in Kaziranga national park is one of the most adventure activities. Shelters huge breeding populations of elephants, swamp deer and wild water buffalo. In the heart of Assam, this park is one of the last areas in eastern India undisturbed by a human presence.
Park Timings
Morning: 07:30 am to 12:00 pm Evening: 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm the park remains open from 1st October until 31st May. Getting Around the Park: Game viewing is done in Gypsy jeeps along the reserve’s dirt roads and also on elephant back. Prices start from R 1,950 per jeep.
Entry Fees: Rs.100 for Indian Nationals Rs. 650 for Foreign Nationals Fee for Visiting. Full Day: Rs. 200 for Indian Nationals Rs. 2,000 for Foreign Nationals Fee per Person For Elephant Ride: Rs. 875 for Indian Nationals Rs. 1,925 for Foreign Nationals Toll For Road Per Trip: Rs. 300 for all nationals Naturalist: Rs. 1,000.
By Air: Guwahati (240 km).By Road: From Guwahati, one can go by road to Kohora on the National Highway 37.By Air: Guwahati (240 km), By Road: From Guwahati, one may reach Kohora by road on National Highway 37 . If you want to come here by aero plane, you have to get to Jorhat airport and the road from Jorhat to Kohora will be 96 km. If you want to come here by train then you have to reach the Farquoting station which is 72 km away from Kaziranga on the main line. Kaziranga is located at a distance of 217 km from Guwahati, 96 km from Jorhat and 72 km from Farquoting.
It is important to know about the important train service from Howrah to Guwahati railway station.
1) By Saraighat Express (12345), arriving at Guwahati the in the next morning at 9.35 am from Howrah.
2) Departure at 5.35 pm, Kamrup Express (15959)
3) Departure at 6.35 a.m., Kanchenjunga Express (15657) from Shialda Station.
4) At night 9.40p.m leave Garib Rath (12517) two days a week (Thursday and Sunday).
5) Departure from Kolkata Dibrugarh Express (122027) every Wednesday night at 9.40p.m.
